Training Program

When you participate in the training program, you will learn about fitness in a weekly educational session that covers a variety of topics including choosing the proper shoes, how to stay hydrated, proper warm-up and cool down techniques and more.  Afterwards, group will break into smaller walking or running groups that will help you prepare for either the Arizona Engineering Company/GHD 5K or Aquafina/Pepsi 10K.

The group will meet on Satrudays at 8 am in various locations throughout Flagstaff. The program will run until the Northland Hospice Run for Life held on June 26th.  As a participant in the Get Healthy With Northland Hospice you will receive free entry into the 5K/10K as well as free t-shirts and a lot of great information.

The cost is $65 and registration is available at the Northland Hospice office, 452 N. Switzer Canyon Dr., Suite A. For information call (928) 779-1227.  All proceeds benefit Northland Hospice, a nonprofit, community-based and community-supported organization that has provided compassionate and comprehensive end-of-life care and bereavement support to Flagstaff and surrounding communities for 25 years.
